Chili Restaurant tells me they are not responsible for their bones in their hamburger... [View all]

I chipped a tooth when I bit into a Chili's burger in the Dallas Airport and found a rather large bone. The manager told me "Don't worry, our insurance will cover this." I wanted to get the tooth checked out and x-rayed - repaired if needed.

Their insurance claims adjuster called me today and told me that their corporate position is that since they do not actually MAKE the burger on-site, it is not their fault. Thus they will not stand behind their shitty burger. Instead, it is the meat packers fault and I should call them. I asked him if we should not take back a little further, like maybe the rancher who raised the beef in the first place.

Welcome to Corporate Amerika! Would you like some Koch with your burger?
