What business is it of ours and where is all this money coming from? For Ukraine, for Syria, for Somalia, not to mention the bribes we pay to Dictators like Karamov in Uzbekistan and the vile homophobic government in Uganda, to name a few.
I thought we didn't even have enough money to provide school lunches for our own chidren.
And who will benefit from all these billions of tax dollars being 'invested' in all these places?
Who benefited from the billions invested in Iraq and Afghanistan? Certainly not the American people and definitely not the populations of any of these places.
Speaking of racism btw, there is nothing more racist than US/Western Foreign Policy. As has been pointed out continually throughout the past 15 years or so.
War is profitable though, for a small minority of war profiteers. Until the profit is removed from it, there will be no end to our 'interventions'.
Funny, I remember Obama during the first campaign responding to a question regarding whether or not the US should intervene in other countries to try to help. He responded that he was against interventions like that, we should not be the policemen of the world'.
Guess he changed his mind.
