Here is the section that set me off:
"One thing I have noticed about people that have a problem with Presdient Obama, they are fucking raging homophobes and can kiss my all American rainbow colored ass! And yes there is a "Gay agenda" it's called equality.
P.S. To any DU jury that gets empaneled for this OP, I am speaking in general terms. You never know around this place anymore."
When I read "people that have a problem with President Obama" it seemed to me it included DUers by default. Given the raging debates around DU for the last year, and especially the back and forth between various individuals and factions regarding criticisms of President Obama, I assumed the poster meant it as a jab at DUers who sometimes criticize the President. The clarification "I am speaking in general terms" struck me as backpedaling.
Upon re-reading it, I see that it could be taken in a different context, and may have not referred to DU at all. The poster of the OP does not seem to be engaged in the aforementioned raging debates regarding President Obama so that is possible.
I think the other post that got hidden read it the way I did. In any case I admit mine was a knee jerk reaction. But I still don't think the post that got hidden should have been -- it was heated, possibly misinterpreted the post it was reacting to, and told the poster to get over himself. I've had worse than that said to me on many, many occasions here, often with less justification (from my own point of view, of course

You wish to smear anyone who says something bad about Obama, but cover it with "general terms".

Actually, Bill is very likely to see the "anti-gay" complaints more readily, as he is gay.
