(20,317 posts)13. A few years ago, I would've agreed with you.
But Occupy Wall Street was a real eye opener for me. It seemed to come out of nowhere, and was suddenly huge. The crackdown against it was pretty effective, but still, I think that change here in the states, if it ever comes, will come from something like that. It'll be over before the the powers that be have decided on their talking points.
