that there are some that lurk in the forum attempting to get posts hidden and people banned because their opinion doesn't "conform" to the need to aggrandize certain politicians and to shield certain politicians from any criticism whatsoever.

I've seen that time and time again, and frankly, if you see it too often, it's enough to make you lose your temper. Then, of course, there are the personal attacks designed to make you lose it. etc.

Putting those members on ignore makes for a more pleasant experience for everyone, yourself because you don't have to see their hatefulness and everyone else that doesn't have to witness a flame war.
