..... grew up with Chief Wahoo figures, flags, posters, and pennants in their yards, on their walls,
and on their homes and so they can not make the intellectual connection between Chief Wahoo and
being racist. To them Chief Wahoo was the figure in the hosta and day lily bed in front of Jimmy's
house and to them that is a warm memory of their childhood. Although one would hope that they
would have grown up and understand things better now but to some that is a heavy lift.
