You would not believe the rude, anti-intellectual students of today's classroom. I had a student who was 19, couldn't pass the high school exit exam, was always insulting me and tried to sleep through my final. I had to send him to the principal so he could write his essay on Japanese internment and finally get out of my class after failing it 3 quarters straight. The issue was he wanted to stay on campus because he was a big fish in a little pond but was also dragging other kids down.

These students do exist and there are more of them. There was one really rude student who every teacher had issues with and she would never constantly on her cell phone in class. She was finally kicked out but not before writing "Fuck you" to me on her folder. Of course most students are fine but the rude ones are getting worse.
