8. Did anyone read the WHOLE story at the link?

Because public polling is held at both public and private facilities, there is nothing that guarantees that the private facility has handicap accessible bathrooms. Since the county can not force the private facilities to upgrade their bathrooms, allowing the public to vote in a private facility AND use the bathrooms would be discrimination against the handicapped and the county would be open to lawsuits for discrimination.

The whole situation is stupid and shows a complete lack of common sense, but under the letter of the law, I see why the county made the decision it did.
