if you are worried about taxpayer's dollars, then the BEST place to spend the money IS on the children...you want return for your buck that's how you do it. It's clear you aren't interested in how taxpayer's dollars are best spent...you ARE interested in punishing poor women for having kids. You don't see it that way. "people are supposed to take care of their kids on their own" No shit, but if they can't? take away benefits so the kids starve? Make the mothers even more destitute? You do understand that poverty is a cycle right? That studies show living in poverty changes the very wiring in a child's brain? That the wiring of the brain predisposes a child to a lifetime of poverty without intense, targeted aid? I'm guessing you don't know any of that, so you resort to, "I don't want to pay for anyone's kid!"
