that is just a sampling of what I am able to gather. This case is really pissing me off to no end. I wish I wasn't so obsessed. But, I am even if I haven't replied to a lot of threads on the issue. Some of the things I have read make me so sick, I can't make myself respond. Some make me so mad, I dare not respond.

I have three girls, all bi-racial. Their father is a dark Hispanic. I have worried that they will suffer discrimination at various times during their life. They have on a few occasions. But, I was terrified of how my own family would treat them. It was actually ok, cause he was Hispanic and at least I didn't have kids with a black man, that's what my mom said after she asked me why I couldn't find a white man. Anyway, I digress.

I know all to well about the undercurrents of racism in this country. White people are fairly open about their racism at least to other white people. My last job my boss wanted me to profile people. It was very stressful cause I didn't know what a shoplifter looked like. Except I pretty much knew he meant black people especially if they had a backpack. Oh that's helpful when we are close to at least two schools.

Okey dokey, this is why I usually leave these threads alone.
