I strongly support GOTV and have been active along with my lefty friends for years. The insinuation that the left's disappointment lead to them staying home is bullcrap. The left will always be disappointed until no American children go hungry at night. The left will always be doing every thing they can to bring about change.

The apathetic that stayed home in 2010 did so because there were few Democratic candidates that were supporting change. If you want the apathetic to turn out and vote, then offer them progressive candidates that clearly support strengthening SS and Medicare, tighter bank regulations, less wasteful defense spending, and dont support trade agreements that send jobs to China. If the candidates are fine with the status quo, the apathetic will see no reason to turn out.
