(14,779 posts)Some have been seen in Ireland, and given how close Alaska is to Siberia I would expect some to stray into Siberia.
On the other hand, the Bald Eagle has a close cousin in Siberia, the White Tail Eagle. Both are about the same size and fills the same niche (lake and large rivers hunters) but the White Tail Eagle does NOT have white feathers on its head.

From what I have read, the only other white headed eagle is out of Africa, but in the African Fish Eagle, the white feathers goes into its chest, and this Eagle's fathers clearly ends at the neck:

This this bird, if being used by a Falconer in the US, would be a Federal Felony. Thus i has to be somewhere where keeping Bald Eagle is legal.
On the other hand, Bald Eagle, while better fishers then Golden Eagles, can survive in areas where they is NOT enough food for Golden Eagles.
