In reply to the discussion: Colorado husband shot wife in the head after eating pot, say police [View all]theboss
(10,491 posts)33. From my limited experience, eating pot can become a free for all
The most scared I've ever been in my life was after an early evening decision to make chocolate chip cookies out of pot. Three of us ate them, felt nothing for two hours, and - suddenly - in the middle of a party all started losing our minds. I ended up laying on a floor yelling that I think I needed a doctor, because I was convinced I was having a heart attack or stroke or something.
I actually remember having this thought, "My parents are going to get a call that their son died of a drug overdose. Which is embarrassing for them. And then everyone is going to find out I OD'ed on marijuana. Which is embarrassing for me."

Yeah, not being a local from that era, I totally hadn't seen that side of her.

if the intent was for her to be dead, using pot as an excuse, a knife would have worked as well. nt
