(10,491 posts)I was probably in no danger of OD'ing, but I was completely out of mind. I had smoked dozens of times before that and never had any problems. But ingesting it differently screwed with me.
That's the point: eating pot may not always be the pest idea because it's a lot harder to regulate how it impacts you.
(There was a rather amusing part of that night. One of my friends was diabetic. And ten minutes after we all lost our minds at the party, he decides that he needs some insulin. How he made this decision is beyond me, but - hey - he's still alive and is a college professor so good for him. We tell the third friend and decide to go out on the back porch of the house we are in to - I dunno - support the insulin injecting guy or something. When we get out there, we are alone. He opens his little kit and starts injecting himself. My other friend and I are probably talking in tongues while this is going on. In the middle of this, two lovely sorority-ish looking young ladies walk out onto the porch, see two maniacs with seriously bloodshot eyes babbling nonsense while a third maniac is sticking a needle into himself. They turn and more or less sprint out of the party. Ah....good times. I go to bed at 10 PM on Saturdays now).
