That there are people whose land was stolen from them would have a right to fight to have it back to them?
I don't know where on this Earth your ancestors came from...but, if you are like most Americans your family was an immigrant who came here and owned Nothing. And they fled countries where their property rights were taken away. But, America was the NEW COUNTRY...and the Native Americans had the rights to the land they lived on because of their possession of it as "Keepers of the Earth."
Very different from Europe....and the European Model was then imposed on the "Keepers of the Land.'
We are all invaders if we are not the Native Americans.. And we took their land through disgusting terms and they are now involved in taking away Immigrants like you and my rights...to use to Frack and defile for Multi-National Oil Companies.
I understand your view as an Immigrant-- just as I and my Irish/English/French blood mixed Ancestors who took a boat here in the late 1700's from Ireland after fleeing England over religious purge....But we ALL are responsible for taking land away from the native inhabitants of the "NEW COUNTRY". And, respect is owed to those who had this "New Country" to Themselves while all the rest of the world went through their territorial disputes thousands of years before "The New Country" did.
There wereTREATIES SIGNED with the Native Americans whose land we STOLE...and those TREATIES should be Honored. It's our Obligation. We signed it....and Those Treaties should be honored.
