4. I was diagnosed with stage III kidney cancer two years ago when my annual physical revealed it.

Kidney cancer often has no symptoms until it's very advanced, and this was the case for me as well... I didn't have the slightest clue until the doctor gave me a call two days later.

Had I not gotten annual physicals it would've killed me.
