it's not uncommon for the victim of sexual violence to not come forward. It's embarrassing, it's hard to prove, it's invasive both in terms of the medical exam and if/when the case goes to court.
Personally I think the guy is probably just an utter absolute dumbass who didn't think through the story he was telling and didn't actually do what he claimed in the show. I think he was trying to be "edgy" as an artist, but is too stupid to know what crosses the line in a good way and what crosses is it in a bad way. Every comic wants to be like Richard Pryor or George Carlin, but most lack the talent to be as provocative as those two.
