24. They're a shitty consumer company

We bought an iPad Mini a year ago to take on vacation. It worked well. The wife and I have never had iTunes accounts, but the wife has been an Amazon Prime subscriber for years. So when we get back, we feel like watching a movie on the 60" in the living room. I think, "why not use the iPad?" So we download the movie to the iPad, and go to play it back, and Apple informs us that even though we paid $600 for the shitty brick that can run one program at a time, the HDMI port still belongs to them, and you can only use it for content purchased from iTunes. Whish the fucker at the Apple store had mentioned that before we bought the $40 HDMI out/charger cable. Fuck Apple, worst walled-garden company out there.
