I was so happy to see your words appear on my thread. I am thrilled you liked the story.

I hope you are doing well on this beautiful day, and Nikita's kids send you their highest regards. They have been looking out the window and see the dogwood tree from where they sit.

I do know that when we lose a human we love or perhaps a beloved pet, while the essence of the physical body does leave the earth, the love never dies. And that is what continues to comfort us.

The essence of my beautiful mom and my dad I feel many days, and today is one of those days.
