I was thinking before you posted I would try to take a picture in the next few days. Right now, a picture would not be that impressive because the blooms are very small. The five I can see are about in the middle but I have to pull the limb down. The other dots of white are near the top and I can't see them that well since I am pretty short and the blooms are very small.
One of two things will happen. The tree will fill out more with blooms, or if we have a windy day, they will blow away. I have been on the lookout for my neighbor all day to share with her the great news of the blooming. She is not at home and must be away celebrating Easter with family and friends. She coincidentally is also from Tennessee. Her husband planted a dogwood tree, but it did not live. He is the one who told me the soil in this DC metro area is not conducive to dogwood trees....
