Although it is far from perfect, I went outside with my camera phone and snapped a picture of one of my fragile dogwood blossoms. My neighbor told me this evening there probably would be no more blooms until next year, since the season for dogwood blooming comes early and has now ended. I pulled the limb down and snapped a photo:

Although this photo itself is not beautiful -- what it represents is.
