In reply to the discussion: THIS EASTER OF DOGWOOD JOY [View all]BrotherIvan
(9,126 posts)49. Simply beautiful!
We don't have the flowering trees in SoCal that the midwest and east coast have. I have such a memory of visiting relatives in Iowa one Easter and visiting a place called the Water Works. It was a park filled with flowering trees and they were all in bloom. Their blossoms covered the ground. It looked like a fairy wonderland. I often remember it when I want to think of something beautiful. Now, whenever I see a dogwood, I will think of you and your family. Have a gorgeous spring!
