Snowden is a hero [View all]

everyday I encounter another person that changed their mind about him going from negative to positive...almost like an epiphany. They believed initially that he was a traitor and that our government would not dare cross that line of trust. That line of trust between citizen and government which creates an integral symbiotic relationship that is the glue of our society has become weakened with the NSA revelations. Indeed, why serve the government and be part of government when our voices don't matter and can be potentially used against us? To change things you have to be part of government but how can you be part of a government when one portion is off limits to you as a citizen? Just like we have two economies (elite and then the rest) we have a two tier government now. Such stratification of government and economy is not sustainable as we know this from past collapses of nations, empires, and countries. It is not a matter if but when the house of cards comes down. I prefer to be on the right side of history IMVHO so when I am an old man I can say I took the right stance that people will be reading about history early in this century.
