and if you are ever that close to a bait ball (of small feeder fish), you'll want to get away very quickly else you meet their predator. I've taken kayakers right through rolling feeding frenzies of bait fish and then sharks.

You will want to get away from that situation as soon as you are aware of it... or else you'll be whale (or shark) poop in a day or so.
