Suggesting that People Focus on the Upcoming Election Is NOT Authoritarian! [View all]

It's a suggestion that people focus on the election that is already close at hand. Since the 2014 election will determine the makeup of Congress and many state legislatures, focusing on it seems like a no-brainer for a forum created to promote electing Democrats to office.

2014 is NOW! The 2016 presidential election has no declared candidates at this point. It won't until the 2014 election is over. We have an election to win this year. Once again I suggest we focus on that election. Since I have no authority whatsoever, it's just a suggestion.

How can one without authority who makes suggestions be an authoritarian? I don't get that. Maybe my comprehension of English is lacking somehow.

Again, I suggest doing the following:
