As fascinating as your "guesses" are from a psychological perspective, the fact of the matter is, a lot of shootings aren't committed with lengthy premeditation. There are arguments or conflicts, they escalate, and someone ends up dead. The black-and-white world where everyone is either a hardened murderous criminal or a completely innocent law abiding citizen exists only in NRA propaganda.
