I think it was the States Attorney that told the cops not to charge...someone who likely had been in his dad's court at one time or another and knew this was a judges son...I can just hear that phone call now to Judge Zimmerman...ah, sir, we've got your son here, again, it looks like he shot an unarmed kid...
