'Mass casualty situation' reported in Arkansas town after tornado hits

A 'mass casualty situation' was reported in the town of Vilonia, Arkansas, on Sunday after a tornado touched down there, a spokesman for the Faulkner County Sheriff's office said.

The spokesman said the number of casualties was not immediately clear.

Earlier Sunday, at least two people were killed and a fire station was destroyed by a tornado that touched down in a small Oklahoma town in the northeast corner of the state, according to local media and the National Weather Service.
