However when you post a poll you SHOULD be asking what other people think, not imposing (or even revealing) your own views on the topic. Anytime a pollster is influenced by their own opinions when wording a poll they have violated the very principle of the thing.

I will agree with you though on one thing. It is a very different matter to seek comfort through reaching out to others on DU during times of severe inclement weather than it is to post faux public service announcements about them. Personally I try to overlook that sort of thing but it can be difficult when a poster acts as a disseminator of important safety information while getting so VERY many details completely wrong. That is just plain irresponsible and should be corrected every time.
