Having said that - one of the greatest hazards faced in industry is entering a place with low oxygen levels. People will walk right into an enclosure or climb into a pit, take several breaths, pass out and die. The real problem gets even worse when someone else sees a man down and runs to their side to help them. Now two people are down.

It would be very easy to put someone into a sealed room and gradually replace the oxygen with argon. The person would lose consciousness and die without ever realizing there is a problem. The room could be unsealed and flushed with fresh air with no hazard to other people.

I really think the reason no one has ever used this method is proof that capital punishment is more about vengeance than protecting society.
