My little Alaska (newest rescue) was doing great then, all of a sudden, she started vomiting and having terrible diarrhea. Got her to the vet, they did all the tests and everything was negative. We gave her anti-biotics and she got some kind of shot. She started getting better about a day later (at least no more vomiting). Poor little bugger was just COVERED in fleas but, in that she was so young, we couldn't treat her. We finally ended up de-fleaing her anyway. Turns out the fleas will distribute eggs which can get into the stomach and that's how they get worms. Somewhere in there she got an infection as well. She ended up being fine in about 3 days. Weak but she was no longer vomiting.
