I too took in a tiny rescue kitten (and her sister) that were dying in a pet store from dehydration and diarrhea. They weren't even old enough to be taken from the Mom yet, but they were. The pet store just gave them to me because they said they didn't have the money to treat them. I got antibiotics from the vet and they recovered very quickly. Is your vet not thinking she might have a bug that is causing the diarrhea, vomiting, and loss of appetite?
My girls both thrived after the antibiotics. I still have one of them...she's a little chunk now. She was just skin and bones when I got her.
Your little girl is just beautiful. I hope for both of you that she pulls through.
