23. My neighbor stands behind these people 100%.

I don't know why I'm friendly with him. I guess because he loves animals so much, and I've never heard him spew any racist bile. He would die for his cats, and I think anyone who can express so much love for any creature, can't be all bad. He uses disposable cardboard flats as litter boxes, and since I work in a capacity in which I can acquire them, I save them for him. The last time politics was even obliquely broach (I was simply correcting his factual inaccuracies about the ACA) , he said I wasn't even an American. "But I was born in Paducah Kentucky", I said "want to see my birth certificate?". I didn't see him for more than two weeks. He was back, however, as soon as he needed more flats, which I had continued to save. "No more politics", he said, which is to his benefit, because I can twist him into a pretzel, every time.
