Apparently, carrying a gun gives the carrier all kinds of empathic, telepathic, and omniscient powers! Zimmerman knew, because he was carrying a holy relic of the High Church of Redemptive Violence, that Trayvon was a truant, a shoplifter, and had indulged in recreational drug use.

Guns! Is there anything they can't do? Besides undo the permanent damage of an impulse, I mean. Which isn't really the gun's fault. Or its manufacturer. Or the NRA. Or really even the person holding it. So stop saying that. Stop it, I say!
