and the guy gets away with it with his pride intact but she is forever wearing the scarlet letter.
It's like the freaking 1950s here, where the woman takes the brunt of all that crap and Mr. Whistle Pants just trundles along like he wasn't responsible for his own lack of self control because he was bedazzled by that woman thing and couldn't help himself - you know how that is.
