It says, "Stop voting Republican. It's killing you." Nowhere in those two sentences did I say anything about there being no other causes of death. It should be obvious that that wasn't what I was saying or implying. That, specifically, is where your giant, light-years wide leap of logic came from.

Now a really good case can be made that Republicans are causing a lot of death. To be clear, I mean death in addition to other causes, like getting old and the related problems that come with age, getting run over by cars, or busses, or being shot by people. Lack of medical care which could be had except for butt-headed Republican governors is causing (additional) death. Refusal to pass any sort of gun laws is causing death. Refusing to do anything to help the economy, such that more jobs would be available, and in addition refusing to extend unemployment is causing death. Absolute refusal to do anything about climate change is causing some death now and will likely cause a lot more death in the future.

I also believe that Democrats could do a lot more, and should. And we have a duty to push them to do that. But they are by far the lesser problem.

does that clear it up?
