56. I don't think it's solely that

I think that the erosion of the wall between mainstream and crazytown Republicans that happened during teh Bush years has caused teh whole party to be taken over by the whackos. I honestly think they would be nearly as extreme to any president with a (D) after his name. That's not to say that his ethnicity doesn't add a certain amount of heat but I honestly think if he had done everything exactly the same but had an (R) after his name, they'd be fellating him at the only begotten son of Reagan.

The Senate wouldn't remove Obama anyway. IIRC, a two-thirds majority is needed and while Republicans are projected to win some, there's no way they're going to win that many. Of course, teh House will probably impeach him just for Presidenting While Democratic.
