Canova's "The 3 Graces" is erotica when in marble, film 3 gals in that situation and it would become pornography. The various statuettes of Priapus and Satyrs from roman times were erotic to the Romans, in Victorian and 20th Century cultures they were described as pornographic and now we have turned back to erotica to describe them.
