... we have the political will to require employers to make it safer. That includes staffing the inspection agencies to a reasonable level so that existing laws can be enforced.

At the power companies where I have worked, zero deaths and zero injuries are very much the goal.

Some jobs are pretty risky; oil related or mining jobs or commercial fishing for example
