Inslaw-PROMIS was its name, part of the Octopus Danny Casolaro was looking into. The "PRosecution Management Information System" software was developed by William Hamilton's company, Inslaw, for the Federal government. Reagan and Meese's chums, cough Poppy, ripped it off and marketed it themselves to allies around the world, opening up their secret prisons, etc. to NSC review in the 1980s. Plus, they made a handsome profit.
