I once hosted at a campground on a lake. The jet skis were disruptive to the wildlife and the jet skiers were mostly obnoxious, self involved jerks. I petitioned the forest service to ban them, but didn't get much support. A lot of motorized boats should be banned too.
Where I live now, activists are trying to get ATVs banned on the Guadalupe Dunes because of the disruption to the wild life.
