6. As much as the message this woman was displaying was disgusting...

throwing a slushee in someone's face is absolutely wrong and if anything it makes us look even worse.

This is not the behavior that progressives should be displaying. There is nothing positive about assault even if the assault is a frozen beverage.

People like Ghandi, Martin Luther King - they changed the world with civil disobedience. Slushee tossing is nothing more than an act of violence that makes us look worse than the woman holding the sign. Technically the woman was just showcasing her first amendment right. Think of how much better the message would have looked if several pro-LGBT supporters surrounded her holding messages of love. Then it would have made her look bad and us look good.

Instead she looks bad and we ended up looking worse.
