115. Some of the people were really getting personal with her....

Which is deserved, really, because she was getting pretty personal and hateful with complete strangers over a natural element of their biology. They were throwing bible verses at her, and most particularly jabbing at her Achille's heel--her divorce, commiserating with her husband and things of that nature. She was griping that she had to sell all the plants in her garden and have yards sales, etc., because she had to get out of the house due to the divorce, and people were telling her that she was going against God's law for getting divorced--there were quite a few people getting into it with her and using her fundamentalist views against her. Many of them were terribly clever!

I can't fret that she's getting pushback as a consequence of being a jerk. I don't feel sorry for her, I don't think the people who are yelling at her are "bad" and that they should turn the other cheek, or anything like that--I think they have a point, and if that miserable meanie wants to feel "victimized" because people are telling her what an asshole she is, well, she can live off that feeling of being aggrieved...but it won't pay the bills or keep her warm at night, the horrid cretin!
