Why things just might turn Democratic--in a hurry [View all]

Points from the day:

1) Obama's favorability ratings keep improving, albeit slowly
his job unfavorability is now in single digits
his personal unfavorability is now about 2 points--just about as good as the best Republican

2) Just as NASA says it has photographic evidence that collapse of a large part of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet in inevitable, and that human caused climate change is the cause

3) Marco Rubio speaks up to say that he does not believe in human caused climate change while

4) Al Gore, speaking at the University of Chicago, states the obvious that any Republican who acknowledges human caused climate change to be a reality will be destroyed in the primaries by Koch brothers money.

5) Meanwhile, just as many Republican false projections and misrepresentations regarding the ACA are coming to light, Mike Rounds (former governor of my state who is now running for Senate in a heavily contested primary buys an ad on Huffington Post to campaign on what a disaster Obamacare is and will be

6) While my brother, who voted for Ronald Reagen twice, says, "Thank God for Obamacare."

7 & 8) Meanwhile, the internet trends of the days are to make fun of recent statements by Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter, and

9) Generally speaking Republicans continue to campaign on articles of faith even as these articles of faith are being exposed as absurd, often fraudulent to begin with, and are now being openly and widely mocked.

Many more instances could be added to the above lists, and the trend is obvious, and well past time.

Will it arrive in a wave by November?

I don't know, but I find myself hoping.
