125. It's petty and stupid because

you DON'T know what he was about to say. How can you possibly know, if he didn't say it? As I pointed out, he COULD have been about to say "negotiator," which would have worked within the context of his sentence. And he didn't look flustered at all. He simply stumbled over words—as everyone does now and then.

YOU are making an assumption based on your bias against the man. You assume you can read his mind and know what he was about to say. But if you're honest about it, if you look at it without that bias—as we democrats try to do—then you can't possibly know he was about to make a racial slur.

There are a least a dozen other reasons to despise this guy, but this kind of nonsense just smacks of grasping for straws.

And I say this as someone who thinks Santorum is a blight on the face of the earth.
