much like in Ukraine. But they could only do it by taking advantage of a revolutionary or pre-revolutionary situation. IOW, the conditions must be there first for the unrest to balloon into a revolution whether it be progressive or reactionary.

As a revolutionary socialist who HAS a knowledge of history, I KNOW those conditions don't apply yet.
