but I can't help but think we're moving in that direction. If you look at the recent strikes over the minimum wage and contrast that with the RW Bundy Ranch militia wannabes, the chance for a spark to ignite something bigger than most people expect are increasing IMHO.

I recently read 1848. I see some parallels with current events. If you're truly a student of Marx, like your avatar suggests, you should be familiar with that era.
