13. The first conditions that need to be met........

involve the rulers not being able to rule in the same old way and the ruled not allowing themselves to BE ruled in the same old way. That's the main condition lacking at this point. There are still a lot of people who have hope that the system can be "reformed" in order to work for everybody. And the rulers still think they can do what they've been doing with impunity and it will still work. At the present time, too many people see class war as a battle that can have multiple class winners, the workers can win and so can the owners. In reality, it's a zero-sum game. When the owners win, workers lose and vice versa.

These conditions will be brought on by heightened class struggle as the owners continue to reconstitute their RATE of profit on the backs of the working class. As we're often told, labor is the biggest roadblock to bigger profit, which means that we have to take ever greater cuts in wages and benefits to restore their profits. At some point it becomes too much and we say "NO!" which leads to a wave of strikes culminating in the working class's most powerful weapon, an indefinite general strike. THAT'S a revolutionary situation.
