Saw her a few days ago in the morning...about 5 weeks old, ridiculously friendly, even ate from my hand so I got a carrier and put her in. She's a tortie, so I wonder if she was dumped because she didn't act like a feral. Then I noticed how bad her left eye was...it wasn't noticeable the other day (since it was 3 a.m.), so I took her to the vet. She's got URI really bad and a corneal something or other and she's on topical and oral antibiotics and I also have eyedrops. Her energy and appetite are really good and is a real sweetheart so once I get her healthy I'm sure she'll get a home. It's her left eye, and her right eye is fine. She's not in danger of dying, but I'd like for her to be able to keep that left one. I'll take some photos tomorrow once I work with her some more. Thanks.

Good news...I took the other two in at the same time since they needed their second shots. Careen, the calico, has put on a pound, Suellen, the tortie, about 10 ounces.
