as long as the African-American community doesn't riot. Then Fox's hopes and plans are dashed.

It seems a rather stupid plan, to be honest, and maybe it is their plan. But to pin it all on the irrationality of a specific group seems to be a very dumb strategy.

I think a simpler explanation is that they're trying to make this black/"white" (latino) issue a republican/democratic issue, or, even more likely, a media issue where the black is always presumed the innocent and the "white" (latino) is always presumed guilty. Its just victimage politics.

But who knows, you could be right; Fox could be this stupid in its confidence that the African-American community is likely to riot. What sort of mind does it take to think up such nonsense and to think so lowly of a specific group of citizens?
